My childhood summers in Finland’s lake area are an inspiration to me until this day. The abundance of light, making it difficult to distinguish day from night. The world that seems to consist of forests, lakes and ancient old granite rocks. The respect of nature and its resources and life by the seasons.

The love and use of practical, liveable design is part of Nordic every day-life. This is also my aim when designing interiors. I believe in creating personal spaces through a thoughtful blend of vintage discoveries, curated art, and meaningful possessions.

Having worked in the challenging environment of VIP business aviation for more than 25 years has allowed me to gain insights into diverse cultures and see the world. It has also taught me the attention to detail. My first design jobs involved selecting interior materials and equipment for prestigious business jets like Gulfstreams, along with designing galleys, prioritizing safety and functionality.

I'm committed to sustainability, integrating vintage finds with modern design. My goal is to bring practical, environmentally conscious design into everyday life, incorporating meaningful personal items to reflect the unique stories of those who inhabit the space.
